About Causeway Coast Holiday
Causeway Coast Holiday is an independent guide to Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast, from Portrush and Portstewart through Bushmills, the Giant's Causeway, Ballintoy and Ballycastle, out to Rathlin Island, and the wider coast beyond it. It exists to answer the practical questions people actually have when planning a trip here: where to stay, what's worth booking, what to do if it rains, and what to see in the time they've got.
What makes this different from a blog
Every guide on this site has been checked against real, current sources, not just written once and left alone. Where that turned up something wrong, prices, opening hours, place names, historical dates, we've corrected it and noted when. You'll see a "fact-checked" date on every guide for exactly this reason: travel information goes stale, and we'd rather show our working than pretend everything on the internet is permanently accurate.
Full detail on how that process actually works is on our Editorial Policy page.
How this site makes money
This site runs Google-served display advertising, and affiliate links, GetYourGuide and Viator for bookable tours and experiences, Expedia for hotel prices, clearly labelled wherever they appear. If you book through an affiliate link, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Neither the ads nor the affiliate relationships decide which places we cover or how honestly we describe them, the guide comes first, the monetisation is layered on top of it, not the other way round. See our Cookie Policy for what's actually running on the site today.
Who publishes it
Causeway Coast Holiday is published by Content Kings. If you've spotted an error, want to get in touch about a place we've covered, or have a question, see Contact.
